Description   Sited next to three 150-foot-tall Douglas fir trees, which form a vertical, cathedral-like void, this wood-frame studio for painting and writing is sheathed in local natural cedar boards. The 16-square-foot plan is stacked in two rooms of 256 square feet each. The cantilevered porch faces east with Puget Sound, Blake Island, and Seattle in the distance.
